    Line Effect

    This is an effect I use on many of my layouts! Some of you have asked me about the lines, so here's how I do it. The result is quite like the halftone effect, but with this one you can choose to remove the lines from certain aeras.


    Step 1: Start by making a layout. I'm going to use this picture to show you the effect:


    Step 2: Then copy this pattern: and install it, here's a tutorial on how to add patterns.

    Step 3: Now use the Paint Brush tool, which looks like this: . Change the settings so they looks like mine:


    Step 4: Make a new raster layer by clicking Layers >> new raster layer. Select the installed pattern and start going over the picture with it. You dont have to fill the whole layout, just the parts you'd like. Here's how my layout looks like now:


    Step 5: Go to your layer palette and change the opacity to something that looks nice. This part is mostly up to you to deside what looks good:) Here's my finished layout:
