Banners
Banners is actually very easy to make, you just have to use your imagination. I usually make the size 500x150 px, but you can choose another size if you want! It is totally up to you.
Step 1: First you have to find some photos you want to use. Two photos is enough but you can use more if you like. I will be using these two (click to enlarge):
Step 2: Open both of the photos in paint shop pro. Then use the crop tool, which looks like this: 
. Crop the picture so it is very much longer then the hight. Here's how I've croped the first picture:
Step 3: Crop the other picture the same way and then resize both of the picture so the hight is 150 px (to resize click Image >> Resize). The lenght of both pictures has to be over 500 when you add them together.
Step 4: Now make a new dokument, click File >> New. Make the size 500x150 px. Paste both of the pictures in it.
Step 5: Use the eraser tool to erase the part of the first picture that is over the other one. Make the hardness of the eraser tool zero. Here's how my banner looks like after the pictures has been blended together (click to enlarge):
Step 6: When you're pleased with the bløending of the two pictures, click Layers >> Merge >> Merge flatten. Now you can add maybe a script or a picture effect. Tehn decorate the banner, add some text and you're finished. Here's my result (click to enlarge):
