Would you like to make money on your website? Wouldn't that be great? I make money on mine! Ir really works. There are two main types of advertising. One is known as CPM and the other one is known as CPC.
CPM means "cost per thousand". This means that you will get paid a certain amount every time the CPM ad loads 1,000 times. Each ad that appears on your site will have a different CPM. Usually, your ad agency and the advertiser set the CPM rate for your site.
CPC stands for "cost per click". Each time someone clicks on a CPC ad, you get paid an amount that is determined by your ad agency and the advertiser.
Google Adsense:
I use google adsense, which is has CPC ads. As I wrote over, it means that I get paid per click on the ads I've put out on my page. Google supplies text links that you can match to the colors on your website. And this can make it more likely that someone will click on your ads.
All the ads you put out on your site will in some way be related to the content on the page you put the ad on. So if people are looking for something on the page and see the ads, with the same content that they are looking for, they will probably click on the ad. And you'll make money.
Get started:
First of all, there are tones of things you have to do before you finally get paid. It will take several months before you'll see any money.
Are you under 18 years old, talk to your parents and explain how google adsense works. If you want the money to go directly to your bank account you the owner of the account has to be over 18. Click on the picture/link under to get to the google adsense website.
Take yourself good time to read through the text carefully! I guess that the first thing you're wondering about is if it coasts any money!? No, it is totally free, you make all the money!. After you've signed up google will take a look at your site to see that it doesn't have any illegal pictures etc. in it, and then you'll get an email back saying everything is okey and you can start to put out ads and make money.
Be sure to read everything carefully on google adsense, bacause you will not receive any money before you've done several things to open the account.
