Is the lenght of your cutenews totally wrong or are you just stuck on how to costumize your templates? Keep reading!


Step 1: First you have to log on to your cutenews account. Then go to Options >> Edit Templates.

Step 2: Now you can decide if you want to just change the default one or if you want to make a new. I've just changed the default one..

Step 3: Start by changing Active News. Click on the text and the code will appear right under. Change the code to what you want. Here's how my code looks like:
<div><h2>{title}</h2></div> <div><h4><em>Posted on {date} by {author}</em></h4></div> <div><h5>{short-story}</div> <br><br> <div>[full-link]Read more •[/full-link] [com-link]<i>{comments-num} Comments</i>[/com-link]</div></h5><br>

Step 4: I use CSS, and that's why my code looks like it does.. Maybe you have to change the code in a different way than me. Just try different things. Save the code and take a look at your website and see how it turned out!

Step 5: Then change the Full Story the same way, and the Comments. If you want to change the length of your comment form, just click on the Add Comment Form text and change the length in the first row.
I hope you learned something from this tutorials, it is not easy to explain because everyone does this in a different way, this is just the way I change my templates.
